Drayton & Gaitor Trucking is a Miami Gardens; Fl based trucking company that aims to be one of the largest trucking companies in the US and International. D&G Trucking was founded by two family member's who in the middle of a recession were laid off by companies who were no longer able to employ them. So Ron Gaitor founder decided to start a trucking company since he currently held a class "A" commercial drivers license and previously managed an over the road department for a local trucking company.
Their dream was to one day build a company that would award entrepreneurs an opportunity of owning their own business and living the lives we all dream of living. Also to give the freight forwarding industry a new look with young/old men/women dedicated to delivering excellent customer service and superior satisfaction.
While moving forward in the company Ron & Dee ran into a fork in the road. The little bit of savings that they had ran out. With getting the name established and trying to establish business credit which is one of the most important components in owning and operating a business funds ran out quick. So we had to put our minds together and figure out how to continue on with the vision and at the same time generate funding. So Ron decide to create a fundraiser marathon to see if there are people out there in the world that are willing to contribute to a good cause.
The reason for the fundraiser is to help our young company raise capitol to lease equipment, obtain permits and licenses needed to get the business going. Our goal is to raise $20,000 in two months. The way we plan to do this is by getting 10,000 people to donate $2.00 toward our cause. All contributions and progress of the company will be displayed on our company's online newsletter. We are also in the process of creating a picture album in recognition of our contributors. The album will be there for us to recognize our wonderful contributors and show them that their contributions are for a real and legitimate cause.
